Doesn't seem quite as fun as TCiD somehow. It's fun, but it tends to get a bit messy on the board due to the sheer amount of aliens that appear.

Don't like as much as the original. Alien patrols are too fiddly. Seems like the best way to win is clearing the ship of aliens. I'd rather have a less violent way be more viable.

An excellent and faithful sequel to the original, very well designed in that it retains many familiar mechanisms and is similar to the original, but puts a fresh and interesting spin on the old formula. In truth this is a more brilliant design than the original because they made a conscious decision to design many mechanisms in negative to the original and despite unnecessarily shackling the design with this restriction, it actually came together very smoothly. A couple of infuriatingly dumb production gaffes, the text on the board doesn't face the same direction so it can't all be read by any one player at any given time, absolutely stupid. They also switched out the clear standees for the aliens and went for matte colours and it just looks far worse, they should have varied the bases not the standee itself. Overall this is a tick ahead of the original for me and my favourite in the series so far, the prison break theme is just epic and the there is a nice build up of tension where you are initially sneaking around followed but a full blown firefight, brilliant stuff! If your a solo or co-op fan, you must get into this series its the bees knees.
