Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

It's decent, and the sculpt of The Batman Who Laughs is amazing. My favourite theme of all the 'Rising' games, which are really just the basic roll mechanic of Elder Sign plugged into a slightly different system, but it's fast, fun, and I really like the theme, so I can forgive the heavy luck element and just have a good time with this one.

Really enjoyed my first play through. Without be an especially passionate superhero fan, I really enjoyed the mechanics and theme. Would prefer to try the Star Wars or Marvel version.

I like these "Rising" dice games although I've only played two, this one and Thanos Rising. They both play very similarly with slight differences. This one has a enemy card track that fills up with cubes and the enemy cards will come out to the main octagonal display, making stuff harder for you. Between these two version I think I enjoy Thanos Rising a bit more as the infinity stone mechanic just fits better with the gameplay...BUT....This Batman version is for sure tougher to beat....which makes it a bit more satisfying when you do win. Thanos Rising is a breeze for me at this point but I still really enjoy the gameplay. Either way, they are both great games if you enjoy the yahtzee style dice rolling.
