    Have had the expansion as long as the game, but never tried it. Note to self: Must make my gameinggroup play Space Alert!

  2. The experience system aspect of it has to be introduced right away, and it definitely creates an overarching reason to play that rewards constant increase in difficulty. Still haven't played with red threats or double actions, but how many people have? I think it's a little bit amazing that this expansion exists, given that I think few people get to the level of difficulty it offers. I mean that in a good way.

    Some of the new threats are particularly nasty. New cards, rules, and soundtrack are welcome additions that add even more chaos. Not a huge fan of the achievement and campaign systems but their use is optional.

Do you think your team of space pioneers is already experienced enough? Even the most dangerous of enemies don’t scare you anymore? There’s a new program of reconnaissance flights to extremely dangerous sectors. To survive you’ll need to pass a special training that allows you to do more actions in the same time. But as you probably assumed by now, nothing is as easy as it seems.

The expansion to the extraordinary cooperative game Space Alert brings even greater challenges for experienced teams. You don’t have to worry though, this expansion is interesting even for teams that don’t win against the most difficult of enemies from the basic game so often.
