Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Played 2 games last night, very enjoyable. Simple to learn, but each decision felt important. Randomness of the dice roll is mediated by mechanics to alter dice rolls. Our group really liked it and it will be out on the table many more times.

Very cool 1vs1. But felt slugish the first time we played. Altho second time we finished faster and we talked about certain strategies being very strong, so lets se might get better with time and more understanding what strategy to utilize Update: After multiple plays it stays where it is, altho we enjoy playing this, it gets quite repetitive quite fast, would love more options and more strategies, because currently it is ether go all in with offensive and just kill opponent or play walls and go for culture. Very little emphasis on anything else

prototype pnp judgement art looks great built and learned, seems good so far. hard to define what the pnp files are missing, I think at least the expansion and some trade ships Seems like it's not as deep as I hoped. Not rly a negative, I think I just go for slower strategies and I got killed. Id say this is a more thematic or dueling in your face 'dice city'. --this could also be due to it being the prototype--- Easy to learn, explain, and get playing. rulebook is large for what the game is but I can't rly say I'd want it smaller as it looks great. comes out to be just a little too much luck for me. It seems like some tiles are just a bit too good when your drawing what you are hoping for. Fun, looks good, but luck heavy
