Not necessary add-on, haven't played with it really since adding it. The designer is a putz on BGG, so it soured me on buying any more of his stuff since he can't appreciate his audience.

1st play: I really enjoyed the combo-ability of the new cards, it felt like both my opponent and I were able to pull off some cool moves. The bonus power that's once per game didn't seem very impactful, take or leave. The enchantments made the game harder, but it actually liked the extra tactical decisions they forced. 2nd play: I like the extra options from the extra cards, but the enchantments add a layer of complexity I'm not sure the game benefits from. Variability is good, but I'm not sure I'll play it enough time to need this add-on. The player powers seem pretty disparate and obvious, take or leave this also.

Mostly just more cards with some interesting combos. New random player powers and enchantment cards add a neat element that can make each game slightly different.
