Governors give each player a unique variable power for use throughout the game, which is cool in tossing in some variety and spice. Envoys allow you to reserve a spot on the board each season at the cost of an action and a resource - which really layers on a nuanced tactic, especially in that last round. And Objectives give each player an endgame goal in monument building, which provides a much-needed new source of bonus points that could put you over the edge in what are normally close-scoring sessions every time.

A fairly uninteresting expansion. Objective Cards: Incredibly boring missions. Sure another way to get points, but nothing interesting, just more things that can get out of your control. Boon of Ra: Nice addition. I would recommend just adding it to the other ones, not removing one from play at the start of the game. Governor Cards: Okay but a bit underwhelming. Unbalanced. Envoys: Super annoying and frustrating.
