It works way better than I expected. I've played with 2 and 3 players. I recommend 3 players, or maybe even 4 for more dynamic and flexible gameplay. I felt the scaling was done surprisingly well, both in keeping it interesting with different numbers of players and in the villain ramping up as the game continues. I still haven't tried the campaign, it feels like it might take way too long. I enjoyed the stance mechanic way more than I thought I would and it works well as a risk/reward kind of thing. It's a good way to keep you strategizing, waiting for the right moment to use that powerful card, but a couple cards did feel cheap. In general, a subtle card being over 5 speed with no bonus feels a bit misleading, even if its effect is weak. Nice artwork, but some cards have the same art seven though they are different effects. It feels justified because that's a lot of art to draw, but it sticks out at times.

A little difficult to get started, but after a few plays the game is much easier to understand. Love the show, love the game.

Seems to have many of the concepts that are better implemented in Legendary. It just seems ok rather than exciting. I was ready for it to end by the time we defeated the boss. I think it is really meant for the campaign but I wouldn't want to commit that much time. I'm not into Anime so that aspect is lost on me.
