Solid expansion. Does make sorting and teaching more difficult, but overall a positive. I worried that the monster fight would feel bolted on, but it works pretty well!

Roll Player is a fun dice game with a D&D theme. The Monsters & Minions expansion adds a lot to the base game. Some strategy and some luck of the roll of the dice.

A nice addition to the many game. I'm not sure it makes overall sense im-game-wise: there is now a baddy at the end that you have to fight (which was kind of missing from the base game where you are creating a character but by the end of the game that character just exists and doesn't do anything) but the minions that you are fighting during the game (without even having finished your character!!) makes absolutely no sense, although mechanically it makes sense in the way they implemented it. Overall an ok expansion, that does not comvolute the base game too much neither renders the rules more complicated or the game longer. Take it or leave it (I personally will probably always play with it included in my future games).
