First play impressions. I wanted to love this game because I love these designers, but I couldn't. Conceptually, it's a great engine-builder race and it has a lot going for it. However, it feels like there is a bit of a runaway leader issue. The truth is that the dice are quite brutal in this game and can easily cause one player to create an unstoppable engine from the very beginning that other players don't have a hope of catching up with. I like to be able to identify where I went wrong in a game, but with this game, I really couldn't. The power of the dice seemed to really clash with the otherwise intricate design and without any catch-up mechanics, it really just doesn't feel like a game that was quite ready for release. I can tell that it could have been great, but I feel it's just missing those little tweaks that would have gotten it there.

Quick-moving worker placement game using dice to power your actions. The conceit of getting two tracks to cross is a neat one.

A dice-rolling worker-placement. Buildings can be very powerful and they are bought using the total pips on the corresponding colored dice. Which means this dice game suffers from the same problem most of them do -- a higher roll will yield better results. While there's a lot of mitigation here in the form of great placements for lower-value dice and a way to flip dice (karma), the buildings fundamentally unbalance this. I will note that this opinion is based on one preliminary play and I wouldn't mind playing this game more to see if my initial impression stands. Plus, I like (some) dice games.
