Tales & Games: The Pied Piper
20m
2 - 5 Players
Ages 8+
In programming, every player must secretly choose and commit their moves for the next 'n' turns. Then each player plays their turns out according to the choices made. The key to Action / Movement Programming is that all players choose and lock in their actions, prior to anyone executing any of their actions.
Action / Movement Programming
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Player elimination occurs in multiple-player games (>2) when a player can be eliminated from the game and play continues without the eliminated player.
Player Elimination
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

The cutest "take that" I've played. Simple and elegant. Run rats into your neighbors homes and out of yours. So far, I'm loving the "Tales & Games" line from Iello. I don't like much "take that", but this game makes it simple and palpable. Artwork/Components- 7.5/10 Whimsical artwork, solid bits Mechanisms- 6/10 Move mice left or right, reduce enemies HP Theme- 7/10 Well implemented Fun- 6.5/10
