Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

A very cool concept, but the game felt like it was missing something. A less binary "morality" system, perhaps? The opportunity to pursue different strategies? I don't know. In the end, I felt like the game would need and expansion to be complete, and since no expansions are coming in the foreseeable future, I decided to sell it.

Deckbuilding alapokra épített közepesen összetett játék. Valamivel bonyolultabb, mint egy Tyrants of the Underdark, de sehol nincs egy Mage Knighthoz képest. Tetszik benne a városotrom mechanikája, illetve a tematikus elemek szuperek.

There's a little bit of frustrating randomness in what you get and some opaque strategy, but I enjoyed the interplay between the conquering and the deck building. I just wish the morality track...did something
