Choices seem VERY obvious, basically making this game devolve into a theme-less game all about the numbers.

An area control game that has gorgeous components and a fun theme, but the euro mechanics and confusing rules (the cards were often highly ambiguous) didn’t really lead to smooth gameplay. Added to that the fact that quite a few elements should have been removed from (or never added to) the game, I do think it could’ve used some more development, but that’s par for the course for a Kickstarter.

Beautiful board and interesting theme, but felt complex for complexity's sake. Always having the other species as automata really slowed the game down at 1-2 players, and at higher counts rules were forgotten because they don't feel intuitive.
