Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

2023 Oct: I enjoyed playing this game. It leans heavily towards tactics with a subtle strategic element. The strategic dimension is brought to life by the god tiles (which vary each game), the timing of when to choose these god tiles, and how you position your tiles on the initial two levels. Additionally, in a 2-player game, there's potential to influence the market in line with your strategy. Beyond these elements, the game is largely tactical, requiring adaptation to evolving situations, the fluctuating market (both tiles and cubes on them), and the strategies of rival players. Another highlight is the absence of hidden information in the game, which makes the playing experience comfortable and transparent. While the mechanics aren't deeply thematic, they are straightforward, streamlined, and enjoyable. The game offers minimal downtime as players can continually assess the state of play. I perceive the game as well-balanced and an excellent gateway game.

I'm avoiding rating because we played a bit wrong. BUT I found the system fascinating. Sadly the actual scoring and gameplay seemed a bit boring but maybe if we played it right id change my mind. Open to trying again in future.

Simple, charming game with cute art. Not quick enough to bring it to the table as a filler, but I won't turn it down if asked. Best with 3.
