Apocryphile
Thoroughly boring and fiddly, especially that silly wheel. Bits are constantly being jostled out of their holes and being 'lost' under the wheel. The fact that you have to turn it every turn makes it doubly so. The players who can build the most factories the quickest soon run away with the game, making it impossible for anyone else to catch up. On top of all that, it has no theme as far as I can tell, and is way too long for what it is. Steer clear of this one - you have better things to do with your time.

After one 3p game: Too long for what it is; surprisingly little depth. Choose which resources to produce, turn them into goods, turn in goods for points. The wheel building part is interesting at the start, but when it's done (around one third of the game) you mostly just play it out making minor modifications as necessary. It's a dry resource euro at heart, the theme doesn't seem important at all despite the nice art. Can't stop wondering if I've missed something here and am willing to try again, but so far not impressed at all.

I enjoyed my first play, the universe is original and the wheel mechanic is interesting. The game felt a bit fiddly with many little rules, and with a lot of downtime though. But enjoyable overall, I will play again for sure !
