First KS backed game. Looks wonderful, but it stops there.. Just a boring game. The mechanics don't work well together, many misprints, bad rulebook (prepare for a lot of checking the rule book constantly during the game) and a lot of down time. My group found the game incredibly boring, so this will be a shelf sleeper.

Rating could even go down tbh, this is as low as I wanna go after one play. The game feels terrible to me. The game is cheap and it looks&feels that way too. There is a location called the Altar on the board, on the cards it is the mystic fountain, there is a card that says viper but shows a spider, my player board was blue but my cards were purple, I mean come on. The downtime feels soooooooo long, cause you can't really plan your turns. This is especially dreadful if you are the starting player. Then you take your turn after that every other player takes two full turns before you can do anything other than picking up your die/dice. I don't like the seasons mechanic, this thing is moving around so fast and unpredictable that its hard/impossible to plan ahead. I would say its impossible although my buddy keept insisting that its only hard... sure. If they would have made season cards with a fixed modifier for the turn this would have been much better. There is no comeback mechanic, you kinda early see who is going to win(by the midgame), and you can't really sabotage other players, curses are randomly terrible or not that bad, and lategame we had one dude have 3 monsters that lets you get cursed if you get your stuff during summer, autumn or winter... (I had spring) and he even had the thing that takes away his curses once someone else uses a monster. So we were stuck at 3 curses for the rest of the game. I might give this one final chance, but only if there is nothing better (or new) around.
