I like it better than Race, and I think it's technically a better game than Roll, but I think Roll is more fun. This is definitely a keeper, and I think it's the easiest to explain to newcomers for Race/Roll.

03/21/2019: Played again & really enjoyed. This is a great engine-builder. The game is over-produced with the big box and the ridiculously-sized resources, but it's fun to play with the components. The gameplay is rock-solid and interesting with all sorts of different combos you can build, greatly dependent on the developments in play and the worlds that come up. I think I like this one more than Roll, which is a high compliment. If only it was easier to transport... 03/19/2019: First play - fun game and really competes with Roll for the Galaxy. I don't know which one I prefer. This one is incredibly fast, which really adds to the tension. There's also a lot to be said for

Yet another Race for the Galaxy variant. I'm giving it a 9 because the core mechanics are still great and it shows it was tested a lot and is balanced nicely... but it wouldn't hurt the franchise if Rio Grande hired a different art team.
