Great expansion. Adds premium quality components upgrades and draft-able player powers. Adds a ton of replayability without adding a ton of complexity. Never play without.

We love the core Nevermore game; it's one of those I should have sleeved right from the get-go because of the sheer number of plays it gets. Lesson learned - time to buy a new one. But I don't feel like the expansion fills any gap the game had, nor extends it in a way that's adding value. The solid tokens are nice and the character cards are very thematic which I love, but chances are the latter will likely not see the light of day going forward because the core game is so good.

I really like Nevermore and this doesn't add too much to the game. The characters are pretty neat and will allow different ways to play the game. Also, it comes with poker chips, which are way cooler than using little cardboard tokens.
