The best implemented expansion I've seen. The rulebook does a great job explaining what each module brings and how much complexity and time it adds. The modules can be used to balance games in favor of merchants or pirates as you see fit. I also think the nerf to the Galleon was 100% necessary.
Danagonia
This exspansion is really, really good. The game is okay without but AMAZING with it. This is the absolute Best expansion I own.
Arkeas
Neat modular expansion. A good chunk of it is just more of the same in terms of cards, special weapons, and ship upgrades which is fine with me. The weather and storm system seems so simple and yet makes things more interesting as you can sail with or against the wind and need to consider where the storm is. Brilliant addition. Locations are also a neat little system that add some additional incentives for being a merchant or pirate and change the landscape a little from game-to-game. Likely won't play without most of these modules going forward.
