I really wanted to like this. A lot. It seemed like it should be 100% my kind of game. But, it turns out, less than I thought. While it’s a good above average game, there’s something about the randomness of the customer market that is really tough for me to enjoy. I feel like it lends itself to a very different game than this one. Combine that with the randomness of the stalls and this went from a game that was 100% my thing to a game that was, by the end, just good. From a must purchase to a ‘I might be okay with trading for this’. Tldr: could have been a great small Splotter-y game, ended up feeling more like a semi-chaotic abstract. Only played once 2p. On the other hand, I’m extremely tempted to try out some house rules, so I may still try to trade for a copy.

Play a Lacerda game in 30mins?! It’s true. This is a fun little filler game; not one of his heavy euros. And it’s very good for what it is. Love the building mechanic from Lisboa which is essentially what this is.

First impression: As a solo, I enjoy the puzzle and the different challenges, it's a good way to explore different aspects of the games. Not sure how I will like it multiplayer, as there seems to be a lot of blocking and hate drafting possible. Note on representation: 8 different customer faces. Half are feminine-presenting and half are masculine-presenting. 4 of them are BIPOC, including 2 Black people. Drawings on the board are quite small and most of the characters seem to have a very light skin. I wish the cover art would show more diversity, like the customers tiles.
