The campaign missions are a bit easier than the base game, but having the additional options of what to play increases the chances of getting it to the table more. Having more enemies and map tiles increases the randomness of the scenarios and adds to the fun of the game.
Nicely fixes the main issue of the base game (the small variability of enemies) while also adding new heros and a new campaign with mostly a nice mix of scenarios (except for the third and second to last which felt like carbon copies of each other). On the other hand, the balancing is even worse than in the base game with most scenarios feeling way too easy or too hard and uses the same stupid idea as the base game of just resurrecting bosses with full health after they have been defeated for the first time.
Price seems a bit excessive for what you get but that's FF all over. Will still get it at some point but will probably wait for a sale down the line.
