Whether you are tackling the new challenges of Haunting of Dale or reexploring the trials of the Shadowed Paths campaign, you will face off against powerful villains, such as the Supplicant of Morgoth and Ollie the Troll. With the Dwellers in Darkness Figure Pack, you can bring those villains to life with new premium figures, along with one for the mysterious and sinister shade featured in Haunting of Dale.
Against such powerful foes, the party will need to be extra prepared. Fortunately, Dwellers in Darkness also includes a fresh batch of gear, including an additional copy of the Knife item (and new upgrades for it) and a brand-new trinket in the form of the Silver Circlet. Combine these useful tools with three new titles—such as Undying—and your party should be more than prepared to tackle the challenges presented by the darkness.

Similar to my rating for the first JiME figure pack, this is a miniature-driven expansion pack (if you own the base game + Shadowed Paths) with some additional cards (items, titles, etc.). The specific figures for these villains immediately make it easier to identify them on the board. However, I would have much preferred the DLC campaign "The Haunting of Dale" to be included with the purchase of this figure pack (even if it cost a few more dollars) rather than having to pay inflated prices for both. In particular, I think the villains are ill-named (Ollie is not particularly intimidating and Ursa is not a bear) but there's nothing to be done about that now. As far as the figure quality is concerned, Ollie isn't assembled well (things don't line up and mould lines are prominent) and I think it was a missed opportunity he isn't holding an item/weapon in his hands like the other trolls. He is more expressive, if a bit more cartoonish. Ursa and the Supplicant of Morgoth fit in with the style of the other baddies from the Shadowed Paths expansion better.
