Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

1 play / 4 players I wasn't impressed. events are random, but not too random that makes replayability better. turns can be slow sometimes. needs the right group, as this is can turn into a "quarterbacking" game, which it did for me. a random event killed us in one turn, very odd.

Felt too much like a puzzle and not an adventure. Funnily, now we play Gloomhaven which bring the same feeling sometimes - though in Gloomhaven scenarios' length feels less predetermined and scripted than in Andor.

2021/09/27 - 9 plays - 2 to 4 players A very accessible landcrawler adventure game, that has the peculiarity of being extremely puzzly and not to rely on fighting all the time, on the contrary key to success is learning when not to fight, and how to find alternative solutions. I love it, but setup is a bear, and makes it way harder to get it to the table than it should.
