New York City is being overrun with criminals. The Police Department either can’t handle this new wave of crime, or has been corrupted from the inside and refuses to help. In these troubled times, certain individuals have stepped up to keep the streets safe…while making sure they aren’t late to work, or they don’t miss another dinner date. Saving the day isn’t easy when you’ve got an active social life to maintain.
In Kick-Ass: The Board Game, players take on the role of one of seven masked vigilantes trying to keep New York City safe. Working together, they must keep the Evil Boss’ plan from coming to fruition. Each round, they travel to the various districts on the game board, beating up minions, doing good deeds for the citizens, and trying to keep their personal life from falling apart. It’s a difficult task, but luckily, they’ve got their friends to help them out.
The game includes five different bosses, and all of the different heroes, bosses, mini-bosses, and minions are represented by miniatures. Each of the seven heroes has unique gear and activation cards that they can use.

A good game, interesting mechanics and lovely miniatures hampered by an incredibly ropey rule book. However, get passed the rule issues and it's a (hard) fun game. Storage

1) When placing super minions, you should replace one minion in the district if possible. Only If the district is full with super minions, you should place the super minion in the next district following the usual rules. 2) When you got your green activation card (or any other activation card), you should remove one of your other cards from the game. 3) Super minions can't be remove with "Clean Up District" effect. 4) You can't use a district timer effect if it's full of bad guys (minions and super minions). 5) After you complete the 3rd event and reveal the final plot, you should remove only face down events, the face up events will continue to bother you. 6) The social media track discount at the shop is for the total of the purchase, not for each individual item. 7) When the hero got 1 free item due to the Shop Clean up Bonus, it must be at random, not chosen from the available items. 8] The card chosen from the City Hall Timer Effect should not be the one used to trigger the timer effect. 9) The hero must combat with everyone in the district. The hero can't choose to fight some of them. 10) The lightning icon rolled on a dice triggers ALL bonuses. If you roll more than one, each effect will be triggered once for each symbol. 11) Gang up: hits and shields from all dice are added up, but lightning effects don't, they can only be used by the hero that rolled them. 12) The Final Plot is revealed only during the Sleep Phase, not before.

Cuatro partidas a dos jugadores, buen juego cooperativo y solitario. Lo peor las omisiones y mala estructura de las reglas, que convierten un juego sencillo en innecesariamente complicado. Una vez superadas las reglas, queda un muy buen juego.
