Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

I don't really want to give this a 2, but I also don't want to ever play it again so I guess it fits. Not terrible, but every single time I've played it's been run around collecting things and then someone loses 1 or 2 characters and that's it. Adding or removing players doesn't really help. It's not interesting or particularly tactical, just dull.

Classic last-hit, A hits B, C wins problem in multi and just not a super compelling skirmish game otherwise.

It is true what they say. Great fun skirmish game, and of course Dredd. Played with my 8 years old son (who beat me once). Miniatures are great, visual quality top notch, game balanced and quick, no long waits for others to finish their turn. Highly recommended.
