Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Voting allows players to influence the outcome of certain events within the game. The vote may be all or nothing, choosing a target for an effect, or to determine the results of certain situations. Players’ votes may not have equal weight, and blocking a player from voting can be a valid tactic.
Voting
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Amazing in theory. In practice too hard to teach and get the game on the table. Even 1 person giving up midgame will ruin the game for all.

Was pretty much an instant buy after seeing the SU&SD video about it. I do kind of wish I had passed on the metal coins - poker chips would have been just fine. Basically it’s kind of got the feel of a more negotiation heavy 18XX… or maybe a more refined Republic of Rome. It feels like something my group is really going to be able to sink their teeth into and get fairly competitive at. Our first game was a little too nice - but I think in my next few plays I’m going to focus less on keeping the company afloat and more on securing my own position. It’s got shades of TI4 in there too - the knee jerk is to make a healthy company, but in reality you have to keep victory points in mind.

Lived up to the hype. Very innovative in its approach & mechanisms. The roll-to-resolve is one of my least-fav bg mechanisms but it was tolerable here. Production is awesome too. This is much better game than i have rated it, I feel the intended satire in the theme is a tad too understated. The mechanisms, art and overall tone could be tweaked to bring a more "dark comedy" vibe showing a mirror to the players & their ruthless greed. Something like that would make feel far more comfortable playing/ recommending or even owning this game, for that matter.
