Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Robust, meaty deckbuilder. The factions play quite differently and the card variety is quite good, feeling more like a tableau builder than most deck builders. This is what I was hoping Empires of the North would be like.

Fascinating game with interesting factions. Also not too complicated, as you (as player) have only 3 actions to choose from, which are all easy to learn. So the main "complicated" thing is managing the Automa which has a useful chart, where you can read bout his every action. All in all its very well designed and the rounds go very smooth and quick.
