Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

A very attractive game with a rather interesting premise that plays very smoothly, but already starts to feel pretty samey by the second play. This is a game I'd play occasionally but do not need to own.

There's a lot to like here. The game feels very well done, everything comes together nicely and there are a lot of moments where you definitely feel clever but at the same time, you know the design accounted for allowing you to do that. The art is great, the component quality is really good, the rulebook is well written, and the price feels right (I went retail). That being said, it's still leaving my collection. The setup is about 15 minutes, which isn't but bad but feels like a bit of a chore (particularly "Travel" or as my group called it, "the donkey section"). That same area also introduces an amount of randomness that feels off in a game like this. (As your Traveler takes tiles, they refill "behind them". The range on these tiles is pretty wide so it's a bit swingy when people get things that really help them and when people find themselves surrounded by things that don't. I would've preferred something more static, personally.) I feel certain this is a good game, it's tighter than a lot of similar games which normally I consider a good thing. It offers some decent strategy elements alongside a bevy of different turn-by-turn tactical decisions that still feels like it comes together well. I wanted to love it, but found myself just respecting it.

交换礼物的设计挺有意思的,但是玩的是五人局,简直是个灾难,等待时间太久。
