Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

The expansion adds several levels of fun more to an already perfect game. The new Heroes are all interesting and freshly innovative. Definitely receiving a full score, for adding more without taking anything away. Then again, I have made a variant rule for an expansion Hero, making it more balanced, in comparison with another Hero's Ability, and interesting, so I am forced to retract my previous, score and give it a near-perfect score of 9 instead, as it is with designs that can be corrected.

A "more stuff" expansion, which by default gives it the same rating as the base game. But more is always better in cases like this, so I'm glad I have it.
