Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.
Variable Player Powers
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

고전 작품을 새롭게 다시 내놓은 건데 재미있다. 2번 플레이를 했는데 라운드 수가 줄어들어서 할만하다.
Vexation
A game by mr. Short that... doesn't come up short :) Lovely worker placement with tight euro-style economic mechanics that plays very well with five players, a number you don't often see supported in the genre. Instant hit with my group
Norbert Chan
Players are CEO of a company, placing workers into various areas of the board to earn income, building material or expanding floors. Most of the VPs come from building floors and rooms. The game is a bit repetitive and dry. It looks like there is only one way to really earn VPs, and that is through building. So you have to maintain cash and goods throughout. Meanwhile you can hire workers or fire them. There didn't seem to be much tension in doing that. I played this on Yucata, and it really wasn't fun for me.
