Cooperative Play
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Games with partnerships offer players a set of rules for alliances and teams. Partners are often able to win as a team, or penalties are enforced for not respecting alliances

Absolutely stunning artwork, but unfortunately that's about all. The rulebook was so difficult to understand and full of edge cases that I don't think that in the 12+ plays I gave it, I ever actually played correctly. It also didn't help that it was originally envisioned as a PvP dueling game that had a very dissimilar co-op mode tacked on. I kept waiting for errata rulebooks to clear things up, but after rulebook v.4.0 still didn't bring clarity, I gave up. Sold.

Good story telling game. For me it is a streamlined version of Legends of Andor. Good map design, use of cards, and inventory system. Hopefully there will be fan scenarios.

I bought it to play as a competitive card game but it turned out that the Versus mode is really simple and not so much fun. The main game is the coop/solo part of it. Even rulebook states that Versus mode is just a "tutorial" before campaign. I don't play solo and I'm not a big fun of coops with some exceptions so can't say much about it. The art of the game is just amazing. It's a pity that I had to sold it.
