ArcOfTheBrotherment
Fun fast paced and lighthearted game. Good filler or for warmups. Really enjoyed my first play of it.
curtc
Pretty standard trick-taking game with a twist. Card quality is particularly good. Team play is the way to go.
DeadFrog
I play a LOT of trick takers. I have no idea why there are low ratings for this game. It's a fun, solid, balanced, pure trick taker. Pros include: hand is the same size regardless of player count, hands are close in score, you have real agency to affect where the points go if you fall behind, and the trump suit doesn't change as often as you'd fear. Took us (4 players) 40 mins to play, everyone had 2 points before the end, it was tense and hilarious, and nobody was ever really totally out of a hand. I highly question your skill at trick takers if you throw your hands up, rate this low, and then complain about how luck-based or long it is. Want things a bit less chaotic? Just play that you have to follow suit even if you have the ability to challenge.
