This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

FIRST IMPRESSION: I do wish the emphasis on claiming control in the different regions was less emphasized to encourage scoring more points during the game. I don't think you can afford to ignore much of the end game scoring if you want to be competitive as it provides most of the scoring. I thought it was quite interesting but am uncertain if there is much diversity to game play as I once thought before playing.

An incredible worker placement area control game with tons of really tough choices to make. It may seem intimidating at first with tons of components and art that screams at you but it plays really smoothly and very easily if you've ever played a worker placement before. But that's not to say it's an easy game; in fact it's one of the toughest, most tooth and nails battles for area control that I've ever played. There's energy management which you can spend to play more workers or to trigger different abilities at the cost of playing less workers, there's resource management to trade in for upgrades to make your workers more efficient, there's deciding when to give up on an area and try generating points instead to offset losing control. It's just chock full of intense decisions that make the game so alive. Highly recommend

Looks interesting but just a little too visually cluttered and is also better with 4 than with two and I already have other games like that.
