This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.

This one surprised on first play. It's very straightforward and yes, there is definitely luck of the draw, but there is a fair amount of control here to. It's Ticket to Ride simplicity but provides quite a bit of enjoyment...and decisions when to pay someone to use their track versus building around them are quite good...as is trying to decide if it makes more sense to pay for more track or to take a turn to get more track. There is alot of weighing the value of a turn versus paying a coin (and giving up 3 points and potentially giving those three points to an opponent).

I think this game is missing one element of player agency to make it what it could be. The way it is, much more of the game happens to you than you happen upon the game. There's no decision beyond taking the best/nearest route such that the game result is far too dependent on the card flop than player agency.

Rating is for the solo module. Straightforward, but a satisfying amount of brain burn based on the forward planning as you juggle fulfilling your current routes vs building for your next ones. Weighing subtle trade offs in creating rail efficiencies. This is the solo train game I've been looking for. A combination between a simpler cube rail game (like TransAmerica) and a crayon rails. Only complaint is it's a little too long. Recommend playing in two sessions.
