Got some mixed feelings in here As the game has several small rules, there's a big chance of getting the game group got lost easily. So, for really enjoying the game, you must teach it 1 or 2 plays before at least Even when there's a good interaction, still is lacking of it compared to Salem 1642 which is more faster/easy to play A thing that made me curious during the gameplay is the fact that the captain could repeat several his role several times while he doesn't play a Drunk or Mermaid card. I guess this is solved by the mutiny step, but still, didn't find it too special or wow Can't say anything by now. Temporarily will rate it as a 7, then we'll see ================== After 5 more plays I will edit the rating score to an 8 As is known, these kind of games are very group dependent. So, after trying it with different groups I could say the game could be either too slow (and then boring) or engaging as they want it to be. A 50% chance of getting fun from it comes from the fact of teaching it well from the first time A well designed game. Deluxe parts are cool and worth the purchase. The Spanish rulebook could be slightly improved due to some minor translation errors, but it's ok Will remain in the shelves for a long time waiting for a good party

They copied "secret hitler", and added pirates, a nicer board, and some extra options to help find out who is on what team. But it still only works if all players roleplay a lot and try to lie, scheme and manipulate. If that's not your thing this game still falls flat.
