Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Only played 3 times but all one day after the other. Shows a lot of potential, the two first deck are different and tell a different narrative. The puzzle with the animals and the puzzle with the dice are interesting. It seems to have a lot of way of victorys, given each character... a lot of fun. The fact that two country are always luck based seemed a negative but since theres two vote, I feel like its fair, plus its add so suspense and make sense with the theme

A really impressive demonstration of the strengths of modularity in systems design. It’s really interesting how all of the different roles and scenarios come together and the game is very compelling. I’m not the biggest fan of the consecutive die worker placement mechanic, but I didn’t find it too restrictive. It just always really takes me out of a game. But the game is super solid, would recommend.

I absolutely love the theme and think it's implemented really well, but there's something mechanical about the game that makes it less engaging than I want it to be. And I find the end scoring / goals to be kind of tacked on. Everything else is really spot on but it makes me sad to have it all come down to trying to convince a bunch of UN ambassadors to do the right thing that I know don't actually make a difference in real life. I'm not sure that I could think of any better end goal, though. I did kickstarter the new species expansion, and am excited about it, and am planning on spending more time with this game as I think there must be more to it tactically than I've experienced so far.
