Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Love the theme, the mechanics, the complexity level. The New Species expansion gives it the replayability it needs

This is one of my new favorite cooperative games. I love the dice placement that is so different from many other games. Plus the difficult choices that have to be made. At the start of each turn my husband and I have to strategize on who should go first and what actions should be prioritized that turn. We have not perfected this yet and the game is not forgiving so our win-loss ratio is not good, but the game makes me want to keep trying.

[microbadge=34746] I’m over the moon about this as the brilliantly tense and engaging solo dice game I’ve been looking for - the two-handed play doesn’t bother me, and with all the new scenarios, I highly doubt this will ever leave my collection.
