Just acquired 5/14/15. When it comes to these types of games less is more (think one deck dungeon). Sold 7/31/20

I like this game! Having tried (and sold...) many other "higher profile" and more complex dungeon crawlers, I thought I'd give a D&D adventure game a try and thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the idea of a campaign and decided on this one as I preferred the look of the heroes and enemies vs Mad Mage. Do I need another D&D game though? Probably not. I played this solo with 3 characters and will do the same again with a different party in a few months, will see after that if it is a keeper. The only thing I didn't really like was the Encounter cards, which are often unimaginative and "take some damage for the sake of taking some damage". I have read some other player ideas for doing things differently and will probably borrow. Edit - it wasn't a keeper - the second playthrough was still great but I am not going to store it to play again in 5 years so sold on. Still great though so while I don't need "another / as well as" D&D game, I may need a "different / instead of"...
