Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Nice art but the gameplay is thin and replayability abysmal. Biggest issue is too many card abilities are "draw another card". There should be three times as many card abilities, to add the necessary strategic depth to maintain higher replayability. I did enjoy the extra large card sizes though.

Not as bad as it looks, there are some nice moments of bluffing and double-think. The mechanism to recycle your cards means that if you don't use it for gaining points you have another chance to use it later. Counting cards is a must, but pretty easy with so few in the deck. My only gripe is that there are a couple combos that are unbeatable if you get the right shuffle and your opponent doesn't. Oh well, play again!

Can't work this game out. There's got to be something we just don't understand about the rules or gameplay as it seems there's no game here.
