Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

Syndrome and Lotso are fun and effective enough to scrape wins off that are close and satisfying, and while Madam Mim is not as effective from a winning standpoint, she is one of the most unique, and should not be overlooked as she is very fun.

There are a lot of little design nitpicks I could call out with this set: excessive rules and keywords that could have easily been cut, Lotso's ability to accidentally softlock himself, confusing and inconsistent use of existing terms. All that said, my true major issue with the box is its use of the Fate mechanic. All three villains have exceedingly punishing Fate decks and have board that encourage spamming the action as much as possible, making them both frustrating to pilot and play against at all times. (To say nothing of how long a game will take when these villains are involved.) If you ever had even a moderate issue with the "take that" element of this game, steer far clear of this expansion. All three characters are consistently unwelcome additions to the table.

Nuevos villanos, nuevas mecánicas y más variedad sin sentirse que se está repitiendo lo mismo que en expansiones anteriores.
