Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

I like this one! Works pretty well for solo. I like how it develops over the course of the game. Admittedly on the long side for a roll-and-write, but also meatier than usual. Mmmm... meat...

March 2023 Cardhaus $21 November 2021 I had a pretty good experience with this one, but we have so many roll/flip and writes that we don’t play, that I am wary to get it.

My favorite of this genre - the dice are beautiful and the board feels more like a standard board game than any other roll-and-write. I prefer this over the previous two-player and multiplayer grow your own dangerous critters and put them in a theme park games. The competition is tight and the penalties for letting chaos reign are real, but also not TOTALLY prohibitive. I appreciate a balance there - because if the negative options are too punishing, what is the point of even allowing them? But if they are too light then that creates no tension. This game has performed perfectly in that balance, for us.
