I really loved the theme of this case and the writing as well.
Warning that this one is a more light-hearted romp (as light-hearted as murder can get I guess).
When a certain spoiler event happens in this game, I was nearly crying with laughter.
The case itself is pretty easy compared to others in the series, but I think it is worth a play for the story alone.
Love the idea to work with animals and I enjoyed very much - attribute heavily to my love of animal. The case is good and the tone is a bit lighter than the rest of the series that may have upset some of the fellow fans.
We played every other Detective scenario, loved the base game. This expansion is okay, but we won‘t recommend it. It is not possible to find out the motive for the crime, you need to guess without a clue. The case seemed kind of unfinished, playable, but not thought out well.

The call comes into Antares Headquarters: There’s been a mauling. A tiger has attacked his circus handler, but something doesn’t feel quite right. Could the tiger be innocent of this terrifying crime?
There’s only one way to find out: You will need to investigate. But you’ll need help. This time you’re not going on the case alone. This time, you’re taking your pets.
Detective: Petty Officers is a wild case with five new animal assistants to complement your detectives’ skills. The truth is just a sniff away.
