Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

This game has something, but I haven’t put my finger on it yet. Pacing is good, and there seems to be just the right amount of tension at the right times. Clever design. Enjoy the theme.

Got the rules wrong in the first game and made it hard for ourselves. I Like the game mechanics but we're surprisingly bad at solving the cases themselves (the second case was a complete fail). Gonna have to play more to see if it's us or the game.

Fairly entertaining. The game itself is basically nothing, trying to match up symbols in a chain while trying to solve the best clues. We got some rules wrong in the first case initially, but overall it's pretty intuitive. Not sure it will still be exciting after 12 plays, however, so it's probably a good number of cases to attempt. Don't think I'll need another game with this mechanism. This may not get played again.
