(Rating after one play) We just played the game today (without the app) and it was already too random and chaotic for us. Things just happen. Since most of the cards are face down, taking cards from players is little more than guesswork. And this would all be fine and well. Short games can be chaotic and still be fun. What is really unfortunate though is that you get 15(!) cards into your hand. Which means that you have to read 15 cards - and then pass them, get 13 new cards, and read them. All this while trying to memorize not only your opponents' cards but also your own. Since they're all face down - including your contracts - you have to constantly check if you have the right colors and what the abilities of your characters are. So it's not necessarily newcomer-friendly. There are also cards with abilities that don't matter. Like taking all hand cards, shuffling them together and dealing them out again. You didn't know what you were going to get anyway, so it's really not a big deal at all. The artwork I really liked though.

It's all right; kinda just feels like things happen though. Feels like there's supposed to be some sort of memory game in there with remembering what other players have in their hands and in front of them, but with the sheer number of cards it's almost impossible. Don't mind that too much though as it can just lead to fun, quick little games without too much AP. Having to spend your cards to trade in for contracts means they don't sit in front of you for very long though, and you can end the game in like 7 turns so you never really set up good combos or anything; it's just over in a few turns and people only really got to score 2 or maybe 3 contracts. The art is very nice and the graphic design is pretty though so it earns a point for that.

A surprisingly easy to play and quick card game based on intrigue. The game is extremely well balanced with 2 or more players using preset decks. Minimal card text makes its easy for first time card players to grasp the game. I rate it as MUST TRY.
