This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.
Pick-up and Deliver
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

There is a ton of puzzling packed into a small box. What a gem of a game that is incredibly tricky to work out, and really provides some good head-to-head gaming.

Didnt know playing pipeline tiles and pretending they're conveyor belts could be so much fun. Very crunchy 2 player game. Love it

The puzzle aspect is the best part of the this game. Everything else feels a bit fiddly or clunky. I love the idea of the trucks loading and unloading being tied to player actions. The rulebook feels like a rough draft, lots of terms used before being explained or not mentioned anywhere. I wish the game was streamlined a little more. Limiting to 3 actions and breaking into 2 phases brings everything to a halt. Some players are better at spatial puzzles than others so you could be sitting there for a long time while they place 3 tiles. Then you throw your truck out which causes them to have to rethink the puzzle again. I get why it is this way but I don't look forward to all the little steps in what I want to be a faster playing game. The tokens and tracks also add to the level of fiddlyness as you can build some nice combos but they come at the cost of moving all these little pieces around. I don't like the scoring or lack thereof. Its a race but if you tie the race then you score apparently. I would rather see the game last a certain number of rounds and then score rather than a race that you can't really pivot from.
