In spite of the promised being a faction that will greatly negotiate with others, most of the time the Ancients pass by the game as a ghost, giving here and there some power, and hoping no one mess with them too badly. Is definitely a good faction to get to the end of a play and not be fully aware of what it did and how it got there. While not weak in the sense of points, I can't barely see why it exhist.

In my opinion, weak faction if 3 players. However, can be top contenders with 4 or more players if you know what you're doing. Very unique in the way you play them to earn the victory.
Natronics
Ancients kick everyone's non-euclidean black holes. They're insanely powerful early, and extremely cheap to play, and their ability to score quickly is just barely outclassed by the near-game-breaking Tcho-Tchos. I think there presence is almost required, since they are one of only 3 factions that can be aggressive early (with Crawling Chaos & Great Cthulhu; others are very situational and likely sub-optimal). As someone that appreciates a cheap and powerful military, I will never turn down the chance to play this faction.
