Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Game is far too long for what it is (took around 2.5 hours for a 4-player game). No feeling of progression, the engine you form on turn 4 is the same one you're running end-game due to having to cover chrome machines and no other permanent modifications. Core ideas are fascinating, it's just missing something in the implementation.
Electropuncher
A curious Euro about a factory that really seems to have a serious rusting problem. Some interesting mechanics but some serious problems with the rulebook.

Really neat, an engine builder where your engine is constantly destroying itself as it goes. For those of us (raises hand) who don't excel at engine-building in general, the opportunity to "try again" every few rounds is quite nice. Order in which some machines come out though might be too impactful at high player count.
