The game certainly has some strategy and tactics to go along with its main rock-paper-scissors mechanic. Mostly you are trying to manage your hand to assemble combo attacks on the off chance that you win that round's exciting rock-paper-scissors random card play. There also are enough differences in the characters that having different ones to play does keep the game fresh. All personal taste, I know, but I really disliked the art work here, and it's exactly the sort of game where you want and expect the art to shine. In the end, this just wasn't interesting or engaging enough to hold my attention for long.
The first “expansion” to Combo Fighter. It’s decently balanced as an additive to the combined roster of characters. The characters are fun and have uniquely “playstyles” (as much as play styles are present within Combo Fighter).
FUN: superfast and thematic fighting game. UNIQUE: has exactly the right balance between speed and depth, which is rare in fighting games. NEGATIVES: the two characters are almost polar opposites, so there can be runaway games.
