They added more content but did not really improve the game that much. Downtime still kills this game and the extra Characters, while fun, are not really balanced in certain player counts. Other than that, the game is just the same game in a bigger box, but I do have a bias over the more portable version, the big box is totally unnecessary.

It's 2023 and I finally got around to trying Citadels - it's quite good! The rules are nice and light and trying to outsmart each other with the roles you pick each round is very enjoyable. Tried it with 6 and it probably ran a bit long, 4 was better.

I really like this game. It is fun and fairly easy to learn. The chosing of roles give the game a strategic twist that I really enjoy.
