Anemelos
Simple negotiation game where everything and I mean everything is up for trade. Super easy to teach and play. There is quite some luck in the tile draw. What I did not like about the game is how easy it is to calculate the value for each tile to each player. This does not leave much space for negotiation and 'smart' plays. All in all it is a good gateway negotiation game.

A game that is all about its negotiation phase. Every other phase is just setting you up with resources (buildings, businesses, money) to trade. I like the high level of interaction and I like the potential for some surprisingly involved trades. While I've had fun playing Chinatown, there is a slight sense of "is that all there is?" about it. I owned the Filosofia German edition of the game. It's quite nicely produced with decent artwork, although the bits do rattle around in a great big box.

One of the best, purest trading games there is. That's good and bad, of course--it means the enjoyability of the game is highly influenced by the players at the table (and how good all players are in assessing the relative value of particular tiles).
