First impressions: very enjoyable 2p game. Tragically, I lost to my friend who admitted she had no idea what she was doing and was just matching colors, which was embarrassing but hey - still enjoyed myself. I previously played Caper Europe and have to admit I prefer that version. Not that it's any better/worse as a game, it's just that it's easier to track your sets and capers in that one.

KeyMaster games puts together a beautiful package. This is a European game, It’s Mine, with new art, some tweaks and alterations. All supervised by the games designer. I picked it up at Origins ‘18, and my wife and I are enjoying it. We’ve only just begun to explore the possibilities within the card combinations. I’m somewhat disappointed by the removal of Barcelona as a location (Awaiting it as an expansion, hopefully with other cites, like Istanbul, Eygypt or Hong Kong) and feel like some of the graphic design decisions hinder ease of play. Particularly with the changes to color and icon size and placement. The use of the metallic ink catches the light and makes it difficult to read, and the iconography is a bit too small. Despite these criticisms, I’ll be keeping Caper because I do appreciate the mood and tone the illustrations and design create around the gameplay. The nicely sculpted metal coins available on Amazon are worth it! Edit: really enjoyed our second play, love the player interaction and playing around with thief, gear and location combos. Still only playing Paris, so I’m looking forward to what the other locations do to switch things up.
